From a coffee bean's carbon baseline
to an exit-ready capital stack.
Incubate on JebiStarter. Raise with your community. Bring in institutional capital. Bind verifiable carbon rights to every investment — then retire them on the registry, once, and never twice.

The four-layer capital stack
Every project carries the same carbon identity from incubation to exit. Click a layer to see its rules, typical raise size and fee structure.
Incubate
JebiStarter-style onboarding. Milestones, simplified carbon baseline, community pre-warming. No money moves yet.
LAYER 02Community raise
Reg CF-style issuance and SPVs. Fans and local backers subscribe through an escrow, funded only on close.
LAYER 03Institutional capital
Jebi Capital-style funds, data rooms, capital calls, carry waterfalls and exit distribution.
LAYER 04Carbon rights
MRV, VVB verification, registry issuance, entitlement allocation, retirement and disclosure packs.
Featured projects
Live across all three capital layers.
Kilimanjaro Regenerative Coffee Cooperative
Agroforestry and soil-carbon transition across 2,400 smallholder farms in northern Tanzania.
Huila Wet-Mill Methane Capture
Wastewater methane recovery and solar drying for a mid-size cooperative wet mill in Colombia.
Ember Roastery Electrification
Heat-pump roastery retrofit with a consumer subscription model and open carbon ledger.
Investing is not buying carbon
The single most misunderstood thing about this platform, stated plainly.
Equity does not generate carbon credits. A carbon asset only exists once a reduction or removal is additional, measured, third-party verified, registered and transferred or retired on a registry.
Read the method →Double-counting firewall
Enforced at the ledger level, not in a policy PDF.
Every verified tonne carries exactly one use tag: Scope 3 inset Offset retirement Held Available. Switching a tag requires a re-validation workflow.
Open carbon ledger →Discover projects
Filter by value-chain stage, capital layer and carbon project type. Carbon status is shown before you invest — never after.
Kilimanjaro Regenerative Coffee Cooperative

Wastewater methane recovery and solar drying in Huila, Colombia.
Ember Roastery Electrification
Heat-pump roastery retrofit with a consumer subscription model.
Reusable Loop Packaging Co.
Returnable container system for specialty café chains in Southeast Asia.
Andes Green Freight Corridor
Consolidated rail-and-EV freight for green coffee moving from port to roastery.
Northwind Café Collective
Member-owned café group with refrigerant management and rooftop solar.
Kilimanjaro Regenerative Coffee Cooperative
Agroforestry and soil-carbon transition across 2,400 smallholder farms in northern Tanzania. Round closes in 14 days.
The project
A 2,400-farm cooperative transitioning from conventional shade-grown coffee to a full agroforestry system with leguminous shade trees, composted organic fertilizer and contour soil retention. The transition is capital-intensive in years 1–3 and profitable from year 4.
Capital raised is used for nursery stock, composting infrastructure, farmer training and the first two years of MRV data collection.

How the capital stack works
Four layers, one project ID, one carbon identity. A project does not "graduate" out of its carbon obligations — it carries them forward.
Layer 01 — Incubate
Onboarding, milestone tracking and a simplified carbon baseline. No money moves and no carbon credits exist at this stage.
| Typical project stage | Pre-revenue to first sales |
| Typical raise size | $25,000 – $250,000 |
| Platform fee | No fee at incubation stage |
| Required outputs | Carbon baseline profile, emissions source inventory, monitoring plan draft |
| Timeline | 4 – 12 weeks |
Layer 02 — Community raise
Reg CF-style issuance and community SPVs. Fans, customers and local backers subscribe; funds are held in escrow and released only on close.
| Typical raise size | $250,000 – $5,000,000 |
| Reg CF success fee | 7.9% of amount raised |
| SPV setup fee | $10,000 |
| SPV management fee | 5% + 10% carry on Wefunder-sourced SPVs |
| Rolling limit | $5M per 12 months (Reg CF), revalidated on every issuance |
| Required outputs | Offering circular, risk disclosure, escrow arrangement, carbon rights schedule |
Layer 03 — Institutional capital
Funds, data rooms, capital calls, NAV marks and carry waterfalls. Terms are negotiated privately and disclosed to LPs only.
| Typical raise size | $2M – $30M per fund or SPV |
| Advisory / placement | Contact for terms |
| Fund economics | Management fee + carry per fund agreement; carry basis shown as two explicit scenarios |
| Data room tiers | Public → NDA-signed → Full diligence (enforced at the query layer) |
| Required outputs | Term sheet, SPV agreement, carbon rights annex, audit trail |
Layer 04 — Carbon rights
MRV, third-party verification, registry issuance, entitlement allocation, retirement and disclosure packs. This layer runs across the entire stack and never resets.
| Standards supported | Verra VCS, Gold Standard GS4GG, Puro.earth |
| Workflow | Data capture → standardisation → QA → carbon calculation → VVB verification → registry issuance |
| Structural design fee | Charged to the investing enterprise or project sponsor |
| MRV subscription | Per project, per year |
| Retirement / custody fee | Per retirement instruction executed on a registry |
| Invariant | issued = allocated + retired + platform reserve, at every point in time |
Carbon method & MRV
What this platform will and will not claim. Read this before you invest or invest through us.
The six-step dMRV workflow
Data capture
Manual entry for smallholder contexts, API and IoT ingestion for mills, roasteries and warehouses.
Standardisation
Activity data mapped to methodology-specific parameters with source and applicability flags.
Quality control
Missing-field detection, outlier flags and an append-only audit trail on every edit.
Carbon calculation
Baseline and project emissions computed against the selected methodology, with an explicit uncertainty band.
Independent verification
A VVB reviews the monitoring report through a dedicated portal and issues approve / conditional / reject.
Registry issuance
Tonnes are issued, transferred or retired on the registry. The platform records entitlements; it is not itself a registry.
Use tags — the double-counting firewall
Every verified tonne carries exactly one tag at any moment. Changing a tag is a workflow, not a dropdown.
| Tag | Meaning | Can it be sold or reassigned? |
|---|---|---|
| Scope 3 inset | Claimed by an enterprise as a supply-chain reduction within its own boundary | No — locked to that enterprise |
| Offset retirement | Retired on a registry against residual emissions | No — retirement is irreversible |
| Held | Allocated to a rights holder, not yet retired or claimed | Only via the entitlement contract |
| Available | Unallocated platform reserve or project balance | Yes, subject to contract terms |
Retirement rules
- Retirement is executed on the registry, not in a platform database. If the registry API is unavailable, the instruction enters a manual retirement pending state — the platform never shows a retirement as complete before the registry confirms it.
- Every retirement certificate records project name, vintage, tonnage, standard, purpose and beneficiary (if the buyer elects to be named).
- Once executed, the ledger row is locked. No edits, no reversal, no deletion.

dMRV cross-activity status
If the standard's draft dMRV rules on cross-activity mutual recognition and interim issuance tracks are adopted, a dMRV design already technically audited on another project may be reused within defined parameters.
| Cross-activity recognition | Applicability check required |
| Interim issuance track | Not applicable to this batch |
Registry integration status
The platform is not a registry. It is an aggregator of registry state, with a manual fallback path that never reports unconfirmed states as complete.
